Leading Literacy in the 21st Century
Matt Renwick – Credentialed Coach, Lifelong Educator, Dad, Husband.
I have served in public education for over 20 years.
I started as a 5th and 6th-grade teacher in a country school outside of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. After seven years of teaching, he served as a dean of students at a junior high, which developed into an assistant principalship along with athletic director duties. As an elementary principal in Mineral Point, WI, I am enjoying the curriculum, instruction and assessment side of education.
I have written for ASCD, Choice Literacy, and Corwin. I also taught future administrators in graduate courses on curriculum and instructional leadership for the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Matt is now a systems coach for a regional education agency.
